    Keynote Speaker: LEN WILSON, Creative Director at St. Andrew UMC, a large church in Plano, TX. He is a storyteller and expert strategist in communications and creativity in church life. After GC 2019, each church will need a clear, concise, creative and compelling message and brand to effectively communicate who they are and where they stand. Len will lead us through a comprehensive process to develop and implement your own strategy, while improving all phases of communication and creativity in your ministry.

  • Ignite - A Marriage Weekend

    January 31-February 2, 2020

  • Grown Up Summer Camp

    June 26-28, 2020

    Camp Counselor, Andy Offutt Irwin, a professional storyteller, says we will encounter wild things, real and imagined-casting our nets upon the waters; enjoying encounters with who/what lives on the shore/and being with aquatic mammals. There will also be a night walk in the forest...woooo! Singing, learning to "shag", listening to stories will add to the camping experience. Come be adventurous at Epworth's Grown Up Camp..

    Experience the Magic: Cumberland Island National Seashore and Okefenokee Swamp National Wildlife Refuge. Be transported back in history as you walk in the footsteps of early natives, missionaries, explorers and wealthy industrialists. Experience the abundant wildlife in each location, and the pristine maritime forests, marshes and mud flats. Visit these special treasures of south Georgia. This is always a very popular program. Join the Journey - 18th Annual Confirmation Retreat February 28-March 1, 2020 The 18th annual South Georgia Conference sponsored Confirmation Retreat is designed for students in the fifth grade and above. This event provides churches of all sizes an opportunity to connect with others through worship, study, and fellowship. It will also include large group gatherings around the church seasons and breakout sessions with topics of grace, United Methodist History and United Methodist lingo as well as Holy Clubs throughout the weekend. Space is limited to the first 500 completed registrations received.
