American Plan includes three meals and meeting room based on group size.
These rates are BASE RATES and are subject to change according to needs.
Tax exempt status requires Ga. Tax Exemption certificate number.
All rates subject to change and 5% Glynn County Bed Tax, 7% Sales Tax and 1.5% Service Charge.
No Pets or Intoxicants

Ask for Individual Reservations to make a reservation or to inquire about
a guest room, private party, special event or wedding in Lovely Lane Chapel.

Epworth By The Sea is owned by the South Georgia Conference of the United Methodist Church,
therefore, United Methodist Churches within the bounds of this conference are eligible for a special rate.

- GENERAL INFORMATION AND POLICIES - |
WELCOME TO EPWORTH BY THE SEA!
Whether you are planning a small meeting, large conference, training sessions, family reunion, a social event or an
individual get-away, you can count on our friendly, experienced staff to handle all the details with style.
HOUSING FACILITIES:
Six motels, 12 family apartments and 21 youth cabins can accommodate up to 970 persons.
All rooms individually climate controlled. All rooms have phones. TV in all rooms except cabins. Specially equipped rooms for the handicapped available.
MEETING FACILITIES:
34 meeting rooms accommodate up to 900 persons. Auditoriums seat from 80 to 900. Pre-school building and fenced playground on site. Sound equipment in all auditoriums. Projection equipment available. Meeting rooms assigned at time of booking based on number in group. Special room set-up and equipment needs can be arranged. Excessive meeting space needs subject to additional charges. Smoking not permitted.
FOOD SERVICE:
Epworth provides cafeteria style meals. Our largest dining room can accommodate seated banquets up to 350 guests. For outdoor events, a patio with picnic tables and a barbecue pit are available. Banquet and catering menus available upon request. Please confirm special requests, such as box lunches, refreshments, etc., at least 72 hours prior to arrival. All Food Functions must be catered through Epworth Food Services.
GROUP DEPOSIT AND CANCELLATION POLICIES:
- Deposit is due two weeks from date of booking. ($20.00 per person; 10 person minimum)
- Deposit is nonrefundable, but transferable to another group booking for up to one year if notice of cancellation of entire group is given at least two months prior to arrival date.
- Total group count and rooming list due two weeks prior to arrival date. Reductions after this deadline will result in a forfeiture of $20.00 per person.
- Your group will be charged first night's rate for any cancellations within 72 hours of arrival.
- GROUP BALANCE IS DUE IN ONE CHECK PRIOR TO DEPARTURE.
(These policies enable Epworth to maintain affordable rates for all our guests. Thank you for your cooperation.)
METHODS OF PAYMENT:
Visa, MasterCard, check, cash, or travelers checks accepted. (Payment due upon check-in for individual guests or an imprint of credit card will be requested.)
CHECK-IN and CHECK-OUT:
Check-in for all facilities is 4:00 p.m.; check-out time is 11:30 a.m.

MESSAGES: Only emergency messages will be delivered to rooms. Please check message board in lobby for all other messages. Phone calls will be transferred to individual rooms where messages can be left on voicemail.
WEDDINGS:
Historic Lovely Lane Chapel is available for weddings. Inquire about rehearsals and receptions.

All overnight groups are on the American plan (3 meals daily).
Off Campus Groups and individual guests are welcome to eat in our dining room. Please purchase meal tickets at front desk prior to entering
serving lines.
DIRECTIONS:
St. Simons Island is approximately one hour from Savannah, GA and Jacksonville, FL, 12 miles from I-95, and 13 miles
from Brunswick Golden Isles Airport. Follow the St. Simons Causeway to Sea Island Road. Left at light. Take first left at Hamilton Road then
right on Arthur J. Moore Drive.
GUEST SERVICES:
Pay phones located outside registration building along with soda and snack machines. Facsimile and copy service,
newsstand and gift-shop available. Ice machines available on second floor of Turner Lodge, first floor of Robertson Inn, adjacent to elevators in Pitts
and Booth motels and Apartments. Wireless and dial-up internet access available at Turner Lodge and Robertson Inn. E-mail access center located in south end of Jones Center.
OFFICE/GIFT SHOP HOURS:
Office and Gift Shop open from 7:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
CHAPEL SERVICES:
8:45-9:15 a.m. Sunday, in Lovely Lane Chapel. Casual dress welcome
RECREATION SERVICES:
Youth Center Pavillion with half-basketball court, two lighted tennis courts, open field for
baseball, football and soccer; football and volleyball equipment; bicycles for rent, outdoor swimming pool in season, two fishing piers on
Frederica River. Minutes away from ocean beaches, boating, offshore fishing and other island activities.
ARTHUR J. MOORE METHODIST MUSEUM AND LIBRARY:
Largest Conference owned United Methodist Museum. Local history available for research.
Open Tuesday-Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.; Closed on Sunday-Monday. Open by special request.
*No alcohol or pets permitted.
